The Mongolian Yurt for Gong Baths in Tottenham, London, UK
"A traditional Yurt (from the Turkic languages) or Ger (Mongolian) is a portable, round tent covered with skins or felt and used as a dwelling by nomads in the steppes of Central Asia." (Wikipedia)
I begin the gong bath preparations in the yurt by lighting the fire in the wood burning stove when it’s cold, sometimes hours before the sound session.
You’ll be guided to the yurt through the garden… you can get in gently, minding your head at the door. Take your shoes off and find your bed. There are futons with blankets and pillows and eye masks.
The gong bath begins with three chimes of the tingsha bells.
Bring your own intention to this gong bath session – and maybe some of your crystals in need of recharging.
Your gong bath awaits, step into this magical, atmospheric place… just lie down, close your eyes, take a deep breath and relax.
